Originally from Barcelona, Spain, Nicol brings a lifelong passion for design to her floral workshop.
After working in top European hotels arranging flowers for over 10 years, she moved to Philadelphia in 1994 to join her husband in opening Tierra Restaurant in Gulph Mills. Tierra was nationally recognized for it’s outstanding food, service and décor, of which Nicol’s fresh flower arrangements and decoration played a pivotal role in it’s success. Tierra eventually became Savona Restaurant, and Nicol phased out to dedicate herself to starting a family.
In 2015 Nicol returned to the design world with Nicol Floral Design. Nicol’s unique style is best described as “Living Design”. Her skill is in translating the natural world's rich variety of form and color into stunning custom designs that enrich the aesthetic of each home, business or event. With her signature obsessive attention to detail, Nicol works closely with each client to identify their needs, minimize costs and exceed expectations.
Nicol works directly with each client and schedules no more than one event per day. For larger events, she collaborates with her established network of catering, photography, lighting, music, and rental partners and vendors.
